Anrich Arno Nortje was born in 16 November 1993 is a Uitenhage, Cape province, South Africa. His age was 30 years in 2023.

In July 2020, Nortje was named the newcomer of the year at Cricket South Africa’s annual awards ceremony.

Career

In February 2019, he was named in South Africa’s (ODI) squad for their series against Sri Lanka. He made his ODI debut for South Africa against Sri Lanka on 3 March 2019.

In March 2019, he was named in South Africa’s(T20I) squad also for the series against Sri Lanka, but was ruled out of T20I series due to injury.

In April 2019, he was named in South Africa squad for the 2019 cricket world cup. However, on 7 May 2019, he was ruled out of the tournament with a hand injury and was replaced by Chris Morris.
