Jason Holder is a West Indian cricketer an all-rounder player who made his international debut for the West Indies in 2013. Since then, he has become a key member of the team, known for his all-round abilities as a pace bowler and lower-order batsman.

Holder’s early career was marked by his impressive performances in domestic cricket, particularly for Barbados. He was first called up to the West Indies Test squad in 2012, but had to wait until June 2014 to make his debut against New Zealand in Jamaica. In the same year, he also made his debut in ODI and T20I cricket for the West Indies.

In January 2015, Holder was appointed as the captain of the West Indies Test team, becoming the youngest-ever captain for the team at the age of 23. He led the team in a series of high-profile Test matches against Australia and South Africa, but struggled to find success as captain in his early years due to the team’s inconsistent performances.

However, in 2016, Holder led the West Indies to a historic victory in the ICC World T20 tournament held in India.
