Rishabh Pant is an Indian International Cricketer who plays as a middle order Wicket-keeper Batter for India, Delhi, and captains the Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League. He was the vice-captain of the India U-19 team for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

Bio
Rishabh Pant was born on 4 October 1997 in Roorkee, Uttarakhand.
Family
His father, Rajendra Pant had his own school, where children from different parts of the city came to study. His mother, Saroj Pant is a Homemaker. He also has a sister, Sakshi Pant.
He is currently in relationship with Isha Negi. Isha is an Interior Decor Designer and an Entrepreneur. Pant himself announces his relationship by posting a photo with her on Instagram.
Rishabh’s father was passed away on 5 April, 2017 when he was 19 due to cardiac arrest. Pant was preparing for IPL 2017 when this devasting news came to him.
He then travelled to Roorkee to finish his father’s last rites and give him a farewell before coming back to play Delhi’s game against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 8.


Education
He completed his schooling from St. Gabriel’s Academy, Roorkee which is currently known as Army School No. 2 and is now under Army Public School management.
Later on, he enrolled in Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University.


Career
Rishabh is a Left – Handed Wicket Keeper Batsman. He plays for India’s National Team, Delhi Cricket Team and Delhi Capitals in IPL since 2016.
Pant smashed a 32 ball century in T20s in SMAT 2017/18 for the Delhi team against Himachal Pradesh, which is the fastest century for an Indian player in T20 format.
During 2019, in the 2-match Test series against West Indies Rishabh Pant, became the fastest Indian to record 50 dismissals as wicket-keeper in Test Cricket, surpassing MS Dhoni’s record.
International Debut
He made his international debut with a T20I match against England on 1 February 2017. He got the cap from former cricketer Saba Karim and become India’s youngest T20I player.
IPL
Rishabh got purchased by Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) in 2016 auction. He also scored a century on the same day for India’s U19 Team.
He has been the highest run-scorer (2292) for the Delhi Capitals franchise in IPL surpassing Virendra Sehwag and Shreyas Iyer.
