Deepika was born on 5 January 1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is an Indian actress.

Family

Prakash Padukone is her father, who is a former professional Badmintion player. Her mother Ujjala Padukone is a travel agent. She also have a siblings named, Anisha Padukone. She got married with Ranveer Singh in November, 2018.

Education

She completed her early schooling from Sophia High School. Later on she enrolled in Mount Carmel College and after that she enrolled in Indira Gandhi National Open University for Bachelor’s of Arts. She dropped from her college for pursuing her career in modelling.

Deepika started her career as a model. She started her full-time modelling career under Prasad Bipada.

Deepika debuts in her acting career with a Kannada film Aishwarya where she played a lead role. Aishwarya was directed by Indrajit Lankesh.
